It only needs another 2 to 3 inches to make the rows match.  Sashing would 
make it even worse, so I'm just adding a little chunk of matching fabric 
here and there and it's problem solved.  It won't be perfect, but too bad.

You never know what'll be in old boxes.  I found a McKinley campaign button 
in one of my grandmother's. It was something that was mostly fish bowl
rocks 
and it was moved here from New Jersey and never opened.  Forty-odd years 
later we finally took a look.
