The thinking was that in the original form there could be other
nutrients there to help the body use the statin more safely... and also,
that if that also gave grief, that it could prove to the doctor that
more experimentation was unnecessary, and that the statins could be
dispensed with instead of dispensed to...  :)

The new "wisdom" is that they don't care how good the cholesterol
numbers are, for people at risk for stroke or heart issues, they want
them on statins...  I suspect that the low-dose won't make a difference
for you... and it would indeed be wise to just drop it...  I hope the
docs don't give you too much of a hassle if that is the case... :)

Good news and bad news...  We can still pray for a miracle...  :)

Actually, hindsight only appears to be 20/20... (G)  There can still be
factors one doesn't catch even then... ;)  But yes, possibly something
could have averted this stroke... but then this is how it is... God
still knows what he is doing, and why.... even when we haven't a
clue....  :)

Prayers continue...  and I'll continue to update my church family as
well, so they'll be reminded to keep praying as well..   :)
