Makes sense - making accommodation, being just flexible
enough so you can deal but not bending over backward.

Not sure whether 100 lb is a big amount or a small one.

A lot of elephants, in sculptures large and small, plus,
at Chiang Rai, a baby one wandering around (supervised).
Also a lot of Buddhas.

Especially when the flow is so inexpensive.

Especially beef and pork. When I met her, she professed
to eat mostly hamburgers, but I have seen her eat most
meaty cuts - even chicken on the rare occasion.

Which is why we ate maybe a dozen times at hotel breakfast
buffets, some of which were quite good and had more than
the run of the mill bacon and eggs, cereal, and toast.
I had an extraordinary squid with celery at the one in
Chiang Rai, for example.

Maple nut granola
cat: starch, breakfast, Singapore
yield: 2 c

1 c oats
3/4 c coarsely chopped pecan nuts
1/4 c chopped almonds
dried cranberries to taste
2 Tb maple syrup
2 Tb coconut oil

1. Preheat oven to 150C/300F.

2. In a large bowl, toss together oats, pecan nuts
and almonds.

3. In another bowl, combine the maple syrup and
coconut oil.

4. Mix the dry and wet ingredients, making sure
that the dry ingredients are evenly coated.

5. Spread the mixture on a baking tray such that
it can be baked evenly.

6. Bake granola for about 30 min, checking at the
20 min mark to make sure that it doesn't get burnt.

7. Let it cool slightly and mix in the cranberries.
And it's ready to be eaten with milk/yogurt or
whichever way you wish!
