That brings to mind a comment, to which I'd guess you can relate.
Compare the standards today on that stuff to what it was when our
children were young and needed it.  We never had a car seat other than
one that had the child sitting forward.  The crib that we used for both
of them is no longer acceptable today.  I'm not saying that the
increased safety standards are bad -- but they are a considerable change
from 40 years ago when our children were babies.

      Title: Chocolate Cream Peach Dessert

      Yield: 10 Servings
 
     14 oz Sweetened Condensed Milk
      2 tb Butter Or Margarine
      6 oz Cream Cheese -- Softened
      1 ts Vanilla Extract
    1/2 ts Almond Extract
    1/2 c  Cocoa
      2 c  Whipping Cream -- Cold
     29 oz Sliced Peaches -- Well
           -Drained
 10 3/4 oz Pound Cake -- Cut In 12
           -Slices
 
  In heavy saucepan blend sweetened condensed milk and butter; cook
  over low heat, stirring occasionally, just until butter melts.  In
  large mixer bowl, beat cream cheese, vanilla and almond extract until
  fluffy.  Gradually add sweetened condensed milk, beating until
  smooth.  Add cocoa; beat well. Refrigerate 5 minutes.  Beat whipping
  cream until stiff; gradually fold into chocolate mixture.  Coarsely
  chop peaches, reserving 5 slices for garnish; fold into chocolate
  mixer.  Line bottom and sides of 3 qt glass serving bowl with cake
  slices; spoon in chocolate mixture. Refrigerate 4 to 6 hours.
  Garnish with peach slices.  Refrigerate leftovers.
