it if everyone would distribute this to all of the Fidonet echoes that would be

This news information was received from Shannon Talley a couple of days ago.
I'm relaying it to the LordNews List guys now.  A second message, received
today, (Friday) is included in this message as well.  If one of you who is a
moderator in the various BBS-related echoes on Fidonet will re-post this there
to each echo,  including LORD, DoorGames, and DoorWare, that would be

It is time to say goodbye dear friends.  FidoTel is officially closed effective
the 15th of August 2007.

I am relocating to the Dallas, Fort Worth area in Texas, and as such, I will
have to shut down FidoTel for the duration of the move, the acquisition of a
job & house and then the acquisition of some bandwidth. 

It is my intention to bring FidoTel back online after I accomplish all of the
above, but I can't provide any kind of time frame when it will occur.

It has been fun, educational, frustrating, and exciting, and I will miss it.
