I see people mention this but don't quite understand it. I have four machines
running in here at the moment,  and significantly more than four HDs, and power
supply and CPU fans,  and don't consider the noise all that objectionable. 
Yes,  I can hear it in the next room at times,  but not that loudly.

Sounds like some of the stuff that's currently living in the back of my truck.
I recall a 486-33 and a -66 out there offhand.  No idea what the limits are, 
but them being that low would surprise me.

Something like that would do fine as a router/firewall.  Or a print server.  Or
any number of other tasks,  I'd think.
