We have (had) shelled ones; I think, unshelled ones, too (don't remember, but
unshelling AND frying them would take too long to bother :-)  ).
I think I had liked them over 13 years ago, but then, since some point, not
anymore...
They are called "arAhis" here.
Peanut butter would be (and is) "arAhisovoye mAslo".

We've been making walnut with honey before, but that wasn't exactly butter.

The dictionaries here say "whipping cream" is 'slivki' to whip or whipped
'slivki'. Not sure the difference does any real matter* here. <g>

There is a word "agronom" (agriculturalist, agromonist) Ä I've seen the word in
a book; maybe still a Soviet book. Didn't hear it often since then.
There is a word "ferma" (farm), borrowed from French.
Also argicultura/agrocultura.

Had ones again today. And I think not salty. The can says they are with
anchovies. Don't know where the anchovies were. If they were inside the olives
(info: my grandmother thinks black ones are masliny, green ones olives), they
were greenish paste. Fish paste?!

Was that 'krem' mayonnaise (sp? just mayonez in Russian) or smyetana?

A dictionary says 'coleslaw' contains mayonnaise.
