Yes and no wonder - expensiveness of life in particular place, imho, is
directly proportional to the loss of people's conscience. Everyone thinks
only how snatch money. In Moscow it is true in all area of life. When you at
airport the taxi driver will demand your money as if you are a cow-recorder
and he is a farmer of the Soviet collective farm.. It is better for me not
to say about a price when you want to rent a flat or stay in a hotel.
Bloodsuckers and loafers. It is a way of life now. For example the bus fare
in Moscow 15 roubles (on the municipal bus), but If you forget to buy a
ticket in a special stall (you were in a hurry) the driver will sell you a
ticket for 25 roubles.

Moscow now is a separate state in Russia. It even has its own money - Moscow
long rouble. What is the difference with Russian rouble? Muscovite is paid
many times higher for the same work than an ordinary citizen of Russia
outside Moscow. He can afford to feel himself as a VIP person when he goes
outside Moscow. Like an American felt in Moscow at the beginning of 199x.
But the prices outside Moscow - as high as in Moscow. People from regions
have a shortage of jobs and they have go to Moscow; they desperately need
money. And as a rule there is no sense in the working outside Moscow. To
speak bluntly (imvho of course) it is an economic crime. How on earth money
will flow to the poor provinces, where there are no jobs, when there is no
sense in working there?

I perfectly remember, that when Soviet Government wanted to boost a far
undeveloped region of the USSR they had set up high salaries just in that
place. And people began to go to this place. All the USSR's North and
Siberia were developed in such a way.

No doubts of that. But if I will speak of people who have never even touched
a sportcar the simulator can be very useful. I think that most important and
useful thing in F1 simulation soft is a developing a strong and persistent
character even of a virtual racer. Every time you are on a track you, for
some time, have to make quick, perfect and confident actions. Even when you
feel not very well, you can train yourself to do the best; and the fractions
of seconds will show you how you are managing. No other computer game, imho,
has such an effect.

But I did not tell you that I did not like that test ride. ;=)
