Or else, you or somebody else might then (just perhaps!) become capable
of telling me how I am utterly illogical and mistaken *not just* because
of the frequently defunct way that I apply my 'Elaborately Plaited
Together terminology' in writing -- but in other ways, too. 
If that happened, I would, I am ready and determined to go cold-turkey
and to devote the rest of my life to other (in that case far less inept)
hobbies, or even to my work. ;->

You choose to be "inept" on this newsgroup. That is your "schtik". The
language you've created is purposefully silly and foolish and
purposefully designed to be that way. I think this newsgroup has limited
utility as a forum for satire...if one can call what you do satire or
some varient of it you've created in your own mind. To be sure there are
many people who don't know what they're writing about on this newgroup
(including myself at times) but this is a moderated forum where almost
anybody can post as long as it has the slightest relevance to
evolutionary biology. From my perspective I've read many idiotic,
tedious, repetitious as well as denigrating posts on s.b.e. I've also
read some interesting and intelligent posts.

This group is as inept as the people which collectively post to it. Does
it put bread and butter on the table? No, but I would not characterize
the group as "more inept" because of that fact. It merely means it is
not practical or necessary for survival. It's a USENET forum for sharing
ideas. I must admit given your routine contribution to s.b.e. I would
hope you were more adept at your personal hobbies and work. Otherwise
your hobbies would turn into disasters and you would be fired from your
job.

ways, too. " I think the two go together Peter. By not using standard
english and responding seriously to posts on s.b.e. the "other ways" you
are illogical become obvious. If somebody writes a serious and thought
provoking post you cannot reply intelligently and coherently if you are
largely utilizing a non-sensical terminology. It also increases the
chances of posters not replying to you.

In your own mind you may see what you do on s.b.e. as making some kind
of sense. Is the alternative you keep on the way you're going or split
the group to devote more time to your "less inept" hobbies and work? How
about the possibility of another alternative. You drop your non-sensical
terminology and start to post or respond serious on topic (those of
others or your own choice) and contribute your own unique ideas on
evolutionary biology and related topics. Yes, I recently saw your post
on the crow making and using a tool. That, however, seems to be the
exception and not the rule of your postings. 

To me most of your postings are obscure babblings. Sometimes I can
derive satire out of them but most of the time not. There once was a
movie with Peter Sellers (forgot the name of the movie) where he went
around doing nothing but babbling incomprehensible gibberish and he was
considered a genius and widely celebrated. At least that is what I
remember. You remind me of the Peter Sellers character except your not a
genuis or widely celebrated...at least as far as I know.

You are different..I'll give you that. But consider balancing the schtik
with substance.
