Actually my system has been catching them, look at the last message Matt
Bedynek wrote me, how many copies of that message do you have, I have a copy of
that message in 123/500's dupe folder from the path containing 138/146.

Obviously before my system can treat a message as a dupe, I must already have a
copy of that message on my system, usually the copy I received from the
quickest/shortest path. (Quickest and shortest not necessarily synonomous)

In my early days of hubbing, I used to run nobogus which did forcedpath
checking, meaning I expected messages to come towards me from other hubs via a
set route. It didnt matter if I had not received the message from my expected
path yet, if it came in with a different expected path, the message got
sidelined. Now I dont run the mailhub on a DOS/Windows platform anymore,
nobogus wont work, I do however run tosser software programmed by the wonderful
folk in Region 50 and I think Germany (24???) and there are perl scripts I
could run that would do the same function, but I choose not to because such a
setup cannot account for those cases when someone validly changes their uplinks
or peers either temporarily or permanently.
