Or not...California is stubborn that way. They think they're leades in
the field of 'screwing the public'.

Actually, the province of the voter's representatives. In California
the voters are screwed for sure, as their state reps are a liberal
majority. They like to tax, and tax, and tax, and tax, and ad infinity.

It'd be easy to identify them. As with those on welfare, a card can be
issued that will ID any tax level payer.

Yes, that would be like a W4. Not everyone has taxes automatically
deducted from their pay. As an independant contract worker, I got full pay
and only paid my taxes quarterly.

I think that is yet to be determined.

I've been there too. It's just as easy to move to the next check out.
