How do you know? You can not have it both ways you know: on the one hand claim
that unlighted cars are not always seen and on the other hand that your count
is accurate because you see them all.

If - as you claim - unlighted cars are not always seen, there are *more* cars
then the ones you see that go without lights.

After all you said, I hope you never run into that child on the bicycle that
you did not see because your attention was drawn to the car with the blinding
headlights coming towards you.

Are you suggesting that driving without lights in bright daylight and clear
weather is an unsafe habit? Strange that it is still allowed hen if it is
really that unsafe.

Nowadays the consensus is that one has a better chance of surviving when one is
belted up and not thrown out of the car. Yet your comrade in the "light
cruisade" does not believe that...

Don't worry. I am a very safe driver. I have not been in an accident for
decades. Not even near misses.


Sorry Frank, your rhetoric is not convincing. Come with some real solid proof
and you may convince me.

Until then I will drive with the lights off in bright daylight in order to save
some of that precious commodity: oil.
