not "easy". They just felt that with their skills they could do
good money there. And they did. But it didn't make them happy in
a long run.

There was never true socialist society here. All it was was just
a kind of tyranny. But one still was in a need to work to run his
life. I feel that your view on our life until 1990 is just a set
of stereotypes your media invented. And you should realise, after
all, 15 years passed since 1990. Comparing to modern Ukraine
with it's wild capitalizm US is a socialistic society :)

As for me it's just a groundless bragging.

All the confermed patriots are the same. They praise for their
(nation or state) and belittle all the others. It's really boring.

I heard it many times here and there .. It reminds me religious
fanatics who can unceasingly talk about rightness of their religion
and claim all the others to be wrong. Silly business.
