I had a friend who did a lot of business-related flying back when 
Braniff was an active airline.  He used to refer to it as "The 
World's Largest Unscheduled Airline" for the fact it was seldom 
on time ... heh heh heh ...

I don't see why.  Facts are facts.  Something which is a fact for 
a man is also a fact for a woman.

Huh?  Who is DON AMECHE??  ... [sigh] ... ask *anyone* that fifty 
or sixty years ago, and you'd bet the response, "He invented the 
telephone!"  OK, Don Ameche played the part of Alexander Graham 
Bell in a *very* popular movie of the late 1930s or early 1940s.  
His name became far more closely related to the invention of the 
telephone than was Alexander Graham Bell.  And I'd bet a fair 
number of people actually *believed* Don Ameche invented the 
telephone.

Back in 1939 Cincinnati also had gas lights on some streets.  You 
could travel through the city and see streets lighted with 
incandescent bulbs, arc-lights and gas-lights -- everything but 
candles ... heh heh heh ... I suppose they replaced the arcs and 
gas lights with incandescent bulbs when they broke down.

I had meant responding to that but it slipped by.  *Sure* we took 
in some war criminals for their technical knowledge.  Just shows 
what a compassionate gummint we have.

Sounds reasonable, though I don't know about that "whatever".

... Did you visit Cambodia or was it Kampuchea?
