I'll say.

RW>> Nope. However, there is a line that one must draw when one knows how
RW>> nature works. Moose don't hide from anyone, they don't have to.
BF> Tell that to the moose-hunters here.

They probably already know it, if they're real moose hunters and not a
wannabe.

BF> When there is too many people in the wood making noise they do hide

No, they avoid them by leaving the area.

BF> and when I had dogs that I used to walk in the wood the moose slowly
 BF> went away

That's because you didn't sneak through the woods, you made noise and they
knew where you were.

BF> and all I saw was their behinds and I know that they even are afraid
BF> of wolves and bears....and you were saying?

So you're a moose mind reader now. That's interesting. Wolves and bear
(bear is singular and plural, not bears) are predators and all
non-predators avoid them, naturally. That isn't to say that a moose will
run away if or when it is attacked. You know this by observing the mother
of a calf. You were more scared than the calf.

BF>>> We don't have the problem with low-flying pelicans as you have or
BF>>> any pelican at all for that matter since we don't have pelicans but
 BF>>> we do have moose...

RW>> And I don't get the cooralation between moose and pelicans. But,

BF> I had dogs for about 20 years and we always walked in the woods so I

See, you do know that moose are dangerous. So do the wolves and bear.

BF> I was very lucky that she didn't attack me or my dog and that is the
BF> only time when she can be very aggressive.

Wrong. She can be aggressive anytime she wants to be. As will the bull
moose.

BF> She called for her calf and run off.

Yeup. Because she's not a domesticated animal and instinctively knows
that there may be danger with any other being in the vicinity.

RW>>>> Plural deer is still spelled deer. Naturally they run away from
RW>>>> the wolf. Every animal wishes to survive, but they return to the
 RW>>>> woods soon enough.

BF>>> Our deer haven't. This morning when I drove to the town there were
BF>>> two in a ditch thar run in a garden when I passed and then I even
BF>>> saw seven more in a field.

RW>> So? There are deer roaming the streets of the little berg I live in
RW>> too. That doesn't mean they've run away from the woods forever, just
RW>> that it's time to eat. Hell, the people here sell 'deer corn' and
RW>> 'salt licks' so that those who want to have deer can attract them to

BF> And we everything to keep them away since they eat almost everything
 BF> in ours.

If you provided them with deer corn and a salt lick, they wouldn't. These
people who feed them have nice yards with flowers and berry bushes in
them. They'll eat anything edible if they're hungry.
