Yes, the article was meant to advertise the echo, and yes, I also wrote on
the reasons why I started the echo. However, he never mentioned in his
response that he was denying it because of those statements, all he said
was exactly what I posted to Bob Short.

If he had stated that it was denied because of those statements, and had
asked me re-write it and to tone it down, I likely would have done so.
Because he stated the reasons that he did to me, I felt slighted, because
I was well aware that advertisements for other echos have quite often been
printed in the Fidonews, and there even has been a section added to the
Fidonews specifically meant for advertisements.

Given his response, together with these facts, I could not help but feel
that he made a decision based on purely on politics, or personal bias
against me. Nonetheless, I was willing to let it go, until he started
saying things publically in the FIDONEWS echo that were different from
what he said to me in private.

Regardless, I no longer care. He speaks out publically against me
"bashing", yet repeatedly lets others submit articles wherein they "bash"
others. He has therefore lost my respect, as I feel he is not a fair
editor, and only wishes to present a one-sided view on Fidonet through the
Fidonews.

I will no longer submit anything to the Fidonews nor read it until Bjorn
retires as editor of it.
