Ah but that's just part of the things to do there and one you would want to
check out at a local corner place just for a rest between shopping.  Thats how
i do it.  And I might add, they have fruit juices at *very* decent prices
which is waht I get more often than not.

Well, it's a part of the culture and you cant find elephants wandering around
looking for rides at 10pm sorry to say!

Apologies.  Inoocent mistake.  I keep going to Pataya beach and Patong Beach.
He was in Patong.  I keep mixing the names due to them being so close.  Been
to both about 4 times each now.  Alex was in north Patong beach area but still
walking from the main part.

This is true but most of the walkabout stuff is not pretending to be 'gems'
just nice corals and things at a decent price.  Some are nicely painted clay
beads, fired with a glaze and pretty enough for what they are.  Watch for
cheap clasps but generally they are sound enough for normal use.

Not a problem!  Me, I just get bottled waters and do not worry about it at all.

Khao Lak is a good place though I only went down there once for an afternoon.
South of Patong right?  Or did I mix cities again and that was Pattaya?
