Perhaps turning off the spam filter might help? I've found that I miss
many a message due to the spam filters. Of course, I don't mind so
much. It keeps the spam down and I have a second address as well. I
tend to look at the results. 'Was the article published?' If not, then
I ask why, if it is that important to me.

I scan each issue. I have my point software set up with a batch file
that opens the zip file and places it in a directory for the Fidonews
newsletter.

What he writes where? The echo, the newsletter, his family?

The official Fidonews is published by the editor. Currently, that
person is Björn Felten. He claims that he lives in Sweden. The
Fidonews is distributed as a text file via the Fidonet file
distribution system. It is not a message echo. The message echo is one
place to discuss the contents of the Fidonews.  Please don't start
with me and act as if we are both stupid.

There will be this next week. Unless the nasty editor refuses my
articles.
