With all due respect, did you similarly criticize the European 
posters who ridiculed us following 9/11?  I don't recall if you 
did or not.  However I think you have misinterpreted what I've 
been saying here.

Here's the situation:  Our European "friends" criticized us 
without mercy for a long time.  Making the absurd claim that *we* 
were to blame for 9/11 -- that we "deserved" it!   I puzzled over 
this for a long time, then, one day, it occurred to me what was 
involved:  It was a combination of guilt on their part as well 
as their being influenced by their guilt-ridden parents and 
grandparents, most of whom had not acted exactly heroically 
during WWII.

Furthermore the disgraceful activities of Europe go back far 
before WWII.  In fact the greed of the Europeans -- mainly the 
French and British -- following WWI ensured burning hatred in 
Germany by forcing on that defeated nation the notorious 
Versailles Treaty.  That treaty was designed to *crush* Germany 
economically -- and it did.  The price France and Britain paid, 
though was high, the price was named Adolf Hitler.  Thus the 
Europeans are responsible for the rise of Hitler.

Our president, Woodrow Wilson, with his famous "Fourteen Points" 
dealt with Germany in a fair way.  The French and British 
ridiculed his ideas and crushed Germany economically.

I'm not "Europe bashing" at all.  I'm merely pointing something 
out to the Europeans posting here what had happened during WWII.  
I get sick of hearing them complain about the US.  As was pointed 
out by an attorney during Congressional hearings in the past, 
"I'm no potted plant".  When Europeans attack the US they can 
expect a response from me. That's what they will get.

If you want to act as a peacemaker, that's fine with me.  Work on 
*them* a bit ...
