I'm aware of that and *my* contribution to WWII as a soldier 
wasn't of any "heroic" nature.  I'm aware of the youth of the 
audience here, however that doesn't change anything I've said.  
They may have heard stories from their parents or grandparents 
which were a bit warped.

I've covered some of the very disgraceful activities of the US 
before, particularly the Spanish American war.  However that has 
nothing to do with the current topic.

It was England and France who wrote and who *insisted* on the 
harsh terms.  The US went along, after Wilson's "Fourteen 
Points" were rejected.
