What you see when you pull out of San Diego bay are anchored boats. Those
directly across from North Island and just a mile or so east of the Nuke
Sub base and/or BOQ. There are also boats on the leeward side of Shelter
Island that if they're not in a slip, they're moored in rows and tied to
a line between two buoys.

Well, don't feel bad. Nancy can't swim, so she's always reluctant to board
the sail boat. Even when I wrap her up in a life jacket, she's not comfy
with being on the water. Wish I had kept it now. There's a very nice lake
an hour from here that would be good sailing water. Nice and calm with
some good winds, but not strong winds like San Diego.

I've never had a problem with it, but a friend of mine got tangled in
another boats lines while backing in and had to find help to get his boat
out of there.
