Of course not, the US only went in when South Korea officially requested their
assistance. So the USA went there by invitation only, and is there currently as
a peace keeping force only.

Its not a "realization", its a simple statement by these "fanatics" that we are
included in their list of "possible targets". Exactly why is not at all clear
(to us), except that we have shown support for UN "peace keeping" roles that
have also been associated with certain US actions. Thats about as much of a
tenuous link that we can find.
