Ok. I'll continue to insert my POV and other things as well.

Turn the other cheek? That works well until one runs out of cheeks. ;)

Sorry. If one hits you, you hit back. If the terrorists hit you, hit
back. A good way to escalate a difference into a war, but it seems to
be the way things happen.... and the only thing the terrorists
understand.

Yes, and if you turn the other cheek and you get hit again and again,
what then? The meek may inherit the earth, but I wonder if they would
want it? After the rest of the people get through terrorizing and
raping the earth, there might not be much left of interest to anyone
that is still here.

I really don't have an answer. I just know that this radical group of
terrorists can't be allowed to win. I have no desire to change
languages and/or religions... or other such things. By constantly
backing up from and "understanding" that these poor people were
mistreated in the past and should be given anything they want in an
effort to soothe their shattered and violated souls and such, the
world encourages their behaviour and will eventually lead to a global
dominance by them. That is their stated goal in their interpretation
of their holy book. I'll live and let live, but when someone slaps me,
I tend to get a bit pissed. I may have to take it because I'm smaller,
but if I'm not smaller, I will demand the ceasing of the treatment.

NOTE: I'm not talking about all of the people of that religious faith.
Most are good people and I have no problems with those.

At any rate, you have your stand and beliefs and I have mine. Go in
peace.
