I think what irritates *me* most about the arguments *against* 
our defending ourselves are those claims that we had it 
"coming".  That we have committed some undescribed, but horrible 
acts, to some people which has *forced* them to reply in kind -- 
despite the fact that their victimhood is never explained, merely 
*claimed*.

Then to *dare* compare the murderous attacks on the innocent 
people in the WTC during peacetime, with a legitimate bombing of 
an enemy in wartime.  It would be infuriating if I had any 
reason to believe they *really* thought that was factual!  I 
*hope* they're smarter than that ...

I don't think any amount of arguing will cause those who are 
against the U.S. to think differently, though.  Thank goodness 
we have the military strength to defend ourselves!
