This reminds me of an incident that happened fifteen years ago in 
our local area.  One guy on our BBS was always trying to portray 
a "macho" image, including the fact that he always carried a gun 
-- illegally.  Once each month our BBS members would gather at a 
local restaurant to talk.  One month this macho guy showed up.  
During the course of the conversation he threatened one of the 
group.  Someone called the cops and explained that the macho guy 
carried a gun.  The cop frisked him -- no gun!   I think that 
destroyed his macho image forever ... heh heh heh ...
