Wow!  Tarring the French and Germans with the same smear you use 
on the Americans?  Amazing!

Just a thought:  Maybe the shopkeeper didn't *want* you as a 
customer ... just a thought ... [sigh] ...

That's a hot button with Navy types, Björn, calling their boat a 
"boat".  To me a "boat" is any conveyance designed to carry 
people on water which has sides on it -- unlike a raft.  There 
are rafts and boats, and that's it, though there can be big boats 
and small boats.  Carol works on a big boat.  ... heh heh heh ...

BTW, I'm sure many here are getting a real kick out of how you 
two keep complimenting each other on your "world experiences".  
If you only knew how provincial an attitude that is ... heh heh 
heh (again) ...
