Actually... I read that there is a general "16 for all" rule, BUT Sex between a
person over 16 and one from 12 to 16 is legal is the underaged person gives
consent... with or without the parents consent.

This is almost scary, as the first thing I thought was if consent is needed to
be given by those under 16, those instances with both parties over 16 can have
non consensual sex?  Legalized rape?
It can't be so! However, just by the fact that 12 year olds can give consent
for sex, the later wouldn't suprise me.

Wine her, dine, her, and she's putting out wether she wants to or not? Hell...
they're REAL men over there!  No woman is going to take advantage of a REAL
man.

The one thing I saw is that maybe some sanity is entering the picture... they
are looking to raise the consent age to 16 all around... were talking 18, but
seems settled on 16.

 I can't either... but then again I can.  Not because he condones pedophiles,
but because the pedophile was prosecuted by the USA.  The anti-USA obsession
clouds any and all judgement, and supercedes any rational thought or reasoning,
damn morals or any other issue, if the USA did it it's just plain WRONG, WRONG,
WRONG!  No matter what!

I figured this out from the outset of the discussion... wasn't hard... right
there for anybody to see.  Even his other anti-USA cronies have had the sense
enough to stay out of this one because at least their morals allow a line to be
drawn that would be considered tabu to cross... I commend them for this.  In
the case of Mr. Van der Vlist though... his -true- motivation is evident, and
his blind ignorance to right and wrong based on that motive is obvious.

Some things in life truly have no national borders... except to some absolutely
obsessed people like MVdV... pity him, but what do you expect from a Godless
soul?
