It failed when the Z1 sysops did not accept the successor appointed by Adrian
Walker.

Walker's successor.

Thom started his list *after* that.

Exactly. So any list mentioned in EP1 can never be a global list.

E-list keeper applying bias in the processing of the list. *Ec's applying
pressure on the e-list keeper. Distributors doing the same. I have seen it all.

No, that was an example of the e-list keeper doing oit right for once.

I have seen dozens of instances of abusing elists. Note the plural, we had
regional and cso related elists too here. Many of these abuses happened long
before Thom got into the picture.

In fact the abuse that made me decide e-list are a cure worse than the disease
happened right here with a regional list in R28. About 1996 or so.
