Why should I bother?  You'd simply try to twist it to your

It does when you are trying to type an ellipsis ...

Actually I've been instructing people as to the proper structure 
of the ellipsis for probably fifteen years or so.  In fact, 
oddly enough, it's that which seems to have made so many people 
appreciate my help!  You merely happen to be my latest "student", 
so don't feel flattered.

One does not "trap" me by posting a malformed ellipsis.  That's 
merely a cry for help.  I've helped you.  *Now* you know what an 
ellipsis is, thus extending your knowledge of both English and 
grammar.  Let's move on to another topic.

I merely ended the expression with an exclamation point followed 
by an exclamation-point ellipsis ... I set a trap and you 
(predictably) fell into it ... heh heh heh ...
