From what I've been able to find out about them, they're not only good,
they're great tools for law enforcement. What they used to keep on paper
notepads, they can now keep on a hard drive. Not only that, but the
device has instant access to the license plate database and theft reports.
The damned thing will automatically sound an alarm (to the operator) when
it scans a stolen license plate (aka car). Great law enforcement tool that
can catch car thieves before they know it.

I have my doubts about that 'law abiding' BS...if a law abiding citizen
is abiding by the law, what's the problem? They're not being investigated,
they're being ignored. Your paranoia means that you feel guilty about
something; drugs, theft, murder, child molestation, what is it?

Big deal. If you're a terrorist planning some dastardly deed, then it's
time to worry...meanwhile, forget about being watched if you're not a
terrorist or you're not aiding some group being investigated. And no,
meeting up with an old aquaintence who may now be a member of a terrorist
group, won't endanger you because you spent some time reminiscing with
them. Law enforcement isn't going to bother you once they clear your
profile as just another person who passes in and out of a perp's life.
Only someone who is paranoid about such things would worry.

They have medication to treat schizophrenic paranoia...I suggest that you
see a psychiatrist for mental testing and perhaps a prescription.
