I'm not going to claim that I know -anything- about international law ...
however, on an individual basis and in the courts of law in the United States,
after evidence has been proven to be false, yet the court still proceeds, we
here call that *malicious prosecution*.

If -we-, as a nation, are to present -our- ideals to the world, then shouldn't
our reprexentations of those ideals extend to the rest of the world.

If not the issue it was (war and nations and all that), and an individual
prosecution against a person were in effect, the indictment would be
dismissed... possibly -without predjudice- that would open the door later for
further prosecution if a prema facia case could be establisehd that did not
include the false evidence within the statutory time limits to allow it.

The biggest mistake the US has made so far in the war was to go by
unsubstantiated beliefs of WMD. IMO, *WITHOUT* the WMD issue there was still
enough reason to proceed.  Had -that- never been put into play most of the
arguments of the opposers would be mute... on the international relations
curcuit, nor inter party here.

Saddam needed to be taken out in round 1, but pressure from the international
community inclined us to "show mercy" where he had never shown any.

NATO, NATO, NATO... (naughty, naughty, naughty).

They are useless.  I've said that before.

Make no mistake about it, I have said in several messages this week that I
support -our- war, and many more (msg's) over the past few years.
I feel we don't -need- the justification of
those who wanted to put the real war off for over a decade, and us overiding
them.  I also don't believe that the nay sayers in NATO on the war -owe- us
anything, but those who pledged us support do owe, if not monitarily, (after
all, if we're doing it for "the world" then money shouldn't be an issue), at
least in continued public support and, if viable, military support on whatever
level it can be issued.

Not every country is lucky (blessed I wanted to say) as the USA, and we -can-
handle it monitarily (as has been proven by unpast war debts -which I disagree
on the debt issue-), and if we are to be the folks that bring this help to the
world, we need to understand that.

If we -choose- to help out in a world conflict, we -choose- to expend our
resources.  To put -any- countries into debt over our -helping the world- ...
over 50 years and what now? Over a century? ... is just plain
wrong if we're asking for money for it.

The nations portrayal has been as us willing to help for the reasons of
democracy.  Make no bones about it, democracy is an ideal ... it also does
*NOT* have a relation to capatalism as the world so percieves, yet that is what
our country makes it be.  The Captalism that exists here is a bastardized
version of democracy.

Marxism/Lenninism ... (to answer your earlier inquiry if I knew the difference)
... same principle in origin, but by reinterpretation creating a scurge that is
still not yet dead.  One idea twisted by anothers interpretation. MAkes one
(from this side of the world) hate the whole concept in its purest form... so
in some parts of the world Democracy/Capitalism gets hated there, on the same
basis.

Before (and I'm done with this relation of ideas) you say it's liberal
propoganda, remember... I'm not a liberal ... nor am I a conservative. I'm not
of the democratic nor republican party.

If you want to classify me, classify me as a "Constitutionalist" ... a
reactionary who would just love *NOTHING* more than to see all these years
later for the nation to be what it was founded to be... and if it means
succession again on some parts again, well... then call me a rebel.  The
current state of affairs WRT to USA world relations, and the well being of the
nation,  envokes certain ideals
guranteed by such.

Despite what -your- oppinion may be, last I checked (several weeks ago), Bush
had less than a 40% approval rate.  I think it may have declined even more by
now.  His DUMBASS has contributed more to the rest of the world hating us than
the rest of -any- party presidents have done combined in the last 100 years...
and your egotistical and Repulican ideal spews don't help the matter much with
the few people we have left around here.

One people, one nation, under GOD.  Where is the pary line in that? Doncha get
it?
