And *I* believe no self respecting person would insult the lives of those who
gave themselves willingly on behalf of their country by saying they weren't in
a "war".  You've spelled out for me that you don't see a "war", and sir, that
insult to those brave men and women is the actions of a low life scumbag to me.

You know who else were scumbags? The VFW. (I know you know, but for the benefit
of those who don't know from other countries that are here, VFW = (V)eterans of
(F)oreign (W)ars).

They shunned Vietnam vets for DECADES as to being members... the reason being,
they weren't in a WAR as congress didn't declare it, so how could they
be a veteran of a foreign WAR?

Korean war veterans were accepted even though congress didn't declare "war",
justified in that they were participating in a UN matter so congress didn't
-need- to declare "war".

It's no wonder that with the WWII vets almost entirely gone, and the Korean
war vets in the progress of droping like flies, that VFW halls around the
nation are closing their doors for lack of membership. That's what their low
life scumbag thinking of superiority and grandeousity did to their
once honorable organization.  All for the sake of what congress did or didn't
declare... even though tens of thousands died, got mamed and crippled, injured,
suffered mental injury from, and who many of the survivors of were even heroes
and models of patriotism to be admired... I'm glad the likes of you and Frank
can carry on the wicked perversion by saying they were NOT war veterans.  You
should be ASHAMED of yourselves.
