I'm glad somebody got something from that... Frank and Roy seem to hve entirely
ignored it.

I sometimes wish that my family did NOT migrate to the USA in the mid 50's.

To be honest, as a first generation born here person, I was brought up with
European values, and as I get older it just reaffirms what I have known all
along... that the American people are some of the most spoiled, arrogant,
foolish, and self serving jackasses on the planet.

They don't REALLY know what patriotism is.  It's just the fashion of the day
and they forget all about it when "American Idol" comes on the tube.

If they would really want to know what is so good about the USA they would look
at a family like mine, who came here -because- of the dream, and has produced
more patriots to hold up the ideals of the USA than any of their
multi-generation families could account for over their entire history.  But
they don't... they just want to ride the high horse and brag to each other
about how great they are... arrogant and foolish assholes that they -really-
are.

Thank you again... your comment made me feel good, and justified in my
interpretation of the events.  I DO apprecite it.
