But that isn't the point. Anybody could do the job, given the time to
familiarize themselves with it. The question is, who can do it without
showing their own prejudices? Certainly no one here, and for sure, not
the person in your region who tried to create fidonus. That was a flop for
the opposite reasons this one has turned into.

We don't know that someone new would be any better, but at least it
would be a change from the tired content it's got now. There aren't very
many people around who would take the time to contribute, but you never
know who's lurking in the shadows, waiting to give the publication new
life.

What would make some great news now would be the Z7 question. Is it going
to be ignored forever or will there be some discussion from the ZCC on
what's being discussed, published in Fidonews? You can't get that news in
the IC echo, but the russkies are still waiting, as witnessed in a post
made by one of them today.

You know of course, that as long as the same person remains as the ZC2,
there won't be anyone re-assigned to Fidonews editor. That would mean yet
another public failure on his part. Politics as usual...
