       When I see double quotes ("xxx") used. I take the data within the
quotes to be a quote of some actual statement by another party. So if I
asked why you stated "You are one of those poor Americans"? That would
be an example of the use of quotes and how I would perceive it's use.

     While you may have a particular opinion of Shannon why do you
insist on applying that opinion to others that are not Shannon, don't
act like Shannon, don't say the same things as Shannon, Etc? You seem
to continue to do so because either you want to or you don't think it
important enough NOT to group people together needlessly. It would be
so much easier for me to take your attitude and assume or pretend that
all members of your country act or think the same way. It is important
to me to treat people as fairly as I can and therefore I try to treat
people based on THEIR hehavior as an individual.
