Carol, I appreciate your comments but you seem to be missing much of the facts
or simply chose not to acknowledge them.  Perhaps a mail glitch resulting in a
missing section of the threads?  Either way, let me attempt to clarify my
position (for the sake of discussion) and allow you to do the same.

If Roy had stated he was attempting to resolve the issue I would hold a much
different opinion.  However, Roy made it perfectly clear he has no intention to
comply and would post from any node number he wishes. In fact, he has done just
that.  I believe it was Janis who suggested he contact his RC (me) after
dropping 1/22 from the nodelist and his reply was "fuck matt".  He makes posts
in this echo and fn_sysop claiming to be its moderator (unrelated).  Despite
all that, many of us try to remain pleasant and accomodating.  I have extended
an open invitation to the region and stated that I would offer my services in
any way.  I even made it clear a RI node number was available if he encountered
any problems applying in the nets I highlighted for him.  Instead, I get a
segment from him listing himself as a NC with nodes that are unreachable and
which he flatly refuses to share contact info for.  All this followed by a
clear statement that anything other than his explicit wishes are unacceptable.

If there is ever a Net 387 he will never be its NC.  I could never trust
someone who flatly states in words by action that they will never comply with
policy.  Such a Net would serve only as a means of nodelist stuffing as an
attempt to win echo elections for moderator, ect.  Who knows what else?

I absolutely refuse to believe you are so naive that you cannot see through
this charade.  Or, why you are so apologetic for an adult male who appears to
have control of his mental faculities.  Maybe you are the nicest person on the
planet?   Never in the history of Fidonet have so many been so accomodating. 
The excuses have run out.  You are not simply "being flexible" or "being nice";
instead, you appear condone the actions of someone who states they will
unequivocably act in defiance of policy -and- norm.  Why?
