Been there done that. While riding down the road, enjoying the nice green
scenery of Wisconsin, all of a sudden my riding buddy pulled to a
screaching halt. I wheeled around to see what was so urgent. When I got
to where he was, he was obviously in great pain and rubbing his face. He
had hit a bumble bee with his sun glasses, which in those days were made
of real glass. The glass shattered and the bumble bee stung him around the
eye before it died. At the ER, I had to call his dad to come pick him up
and bring somebody along to ride his bike back to Illinois. I know I was
eating bugs that day, even honey bees, but I'm glad it wasn't me who got
to be the one who hit the bumble bee.  What kind of bike are you riding
and are you on any of the rider forums?
