 With the republican voters. After all, even the republican party
 says they won't support their own nominee. So, no matter what,
 you get a democrat in the Senate. Turn over enough seats and the
 democrats get to organize the Senate. Lieberman has already said
 he will caucus with the democrats.

 Above all else, this is the race the republicans can't afford to
 lose. If Lieberman loses, it will be a disaster for the
 republicans. If Lieberman wins by a narrow margin, with all that
 republican money and suport, it will send republicans running
 for cover. If Lieberman wins by a good margin, the democrats
 still get a senate seat.

 Not very likely. If he tried he'd be another Pat Buchanan. OTOH,
 if the dems advertise him as the republican nominee for pres he
 will take votes from the republican candidate.

 No matter how it turns out, it won't be good for the
 republicans.

 Welfare went down under Clinton, up under Reagan and Bush. Taxes
 went up under Clinton, and the debt and the debt load went down.
 Under Reagan and Bush the debt and the debt load went up.

 And the govt shrank under Clinton, expanded under Reagan and
 Bush.

 Bush put the federal govt into education to an extent the
 democrats never dreamed of. Now he is trying to take the
 National Guard, which is the constitutionally established
 militia, from the states, which the constitution gives them to,
 and put them at his beck and call.

 IOW, Bush has betrayed pretty much everything conservatives have
 claimed to stand for.

 Nope. The war never came up for a vote. Congress voted to give
 the president authority to use force to enforce the inspection
 and disarmament of Iraq. Saddam caved in and allowed the
 inspection, when and where the inspectors wanted, and showed he
 had disarmed. Bush invaded anyway, even though the terms of the
 authorization were not met.

 Nobody voted to allow Bush to be stupid. He did that on his own.

 Nope, the republicans have chosen to abandon their own candidate
 in favor of Lieberman. Hey, remember when the republicans called
 him "Sore Loserman"? Well, that's what he is now.

 Clinton never had OBL in custody. Bush let OBL escape from
 Afghanistan.

 Oh man... that has got to be the dumbest example I have heard
 applied to this yet.

 Osama Bin Laden ain't no rabit, he is the wolf. You hunt him or
 he will kill again.

 OBL waits years between attacks... then comes out and kills
 people. Bush let that happen.

 That is the part you will never get past.
