Ärende: Lieberman and OBL

 RW>>>> Which they don't already. Somehow I don't see how a
RW>>>> legitimate polictical party can stab a person in the back,

BK>>> You mean like the Republicans stabbed McCain in the back?

 RW>> They did?

BK> The rumor they got started that he fathered a black child
 BK> qualifies.

That must have been a left wing rumor, it was never repeated in anyplace
I've frequented.

BK> The smears about his military service, that he betrayed the other
 BK> POWs,

That's not what his fellow POWs say. Just another left wing rumor.

BK> and that he was unstable because of his time as a POW, also
 BK> qualifies.

I think he was and still may be. That's why he'll never get past his
present position.

BK>>> No political party stabbed Lieberman in the back.

RW>> That's not what the press is saying.

BK> The press has gotten too much in the habit of kissing Bush's
 BK> butt.

LOL! We're talking about the same 'drive-by media' right? As left wing as
they come.

BK>>> The voters chose another candidate after Lieberman stabbed the
BK>>> democratic party, and their presidential nominee, in the back.

RW>> LOL! A primary election by the democrats for the democrats
RW>> doesn't speak for all of the voters. But the results surely

BK> It speaks for the democrats who cared enough to vote. That's
 BK> what primaries do.

Yeah, it speaks for the minority who voted. Looks like Joe is leading
their candidate by 12% and running away with it to be re-elected in the
fall.

RW>> do. The whacko far left backstabbed lil' Joe for honestly
 RW>> stating the facts.

BK> So, now you think opposing a candidate is back stabbing?

Note that I said the far left. They'll backstab anybody to get their way.

BK> Don't want any competition for office?

Don't be silly. When democrats run, they make the case for all of their
opponents just by being in the race. They're needed by others to win
elections.

BK>>> Holding office through a party does not confer lifetime support.

 RW>> More BS...

BK> You think once elected you are entitled to be nominated forever?

I hope John Kerry reads your advice.

BK>>> Lieberman has turned against the principles the democratic party
BK>>> supports. His choice. That's what elections are all about.

RW>> It seems like the libs have gone too far to the left...but

BK> I'm not interested in what libs did, I'm interested in what
 BK> democrats do.

they're libs, so you'll have to be interested in all of them.

 BK> ...

RW>>>> especially one who ran as a Presidential candidate just two
 RW>>>> years ago.

BK>>> Anyone can *RUN* as a presidential candidate. Lieberman was more
BK>>> interested in Lieberman than in America, it would seem.

RW>> Who was the VP candidate with Algore? You don't get there
RW>> by the seat of your pants.

BK> Why not? How did Quayle get there?

He rode on the coat-tails of Bush Sr. Although, if it came to a choice
between Bensen and Quayle, Quayle would be the better choice; he didn't
know JFK and therefore wouldn't have been influenced by such a dork.
Benson of course, proved that he was influenced by him in his debates.
That's why he was such a loser.

BK>>> McCain ran as a presidential candidate 6 years ago.
RW>> I voted for him, to send a message to Bush.
BK> I voted for him because I thought he was the best choice.

I knew he wouldn't be the final candidate. He didn't have the following
for it.

BK> After he kissed up to the Religious right and Bush he lost my
 BK> respect.

No matter. He wasn't going to be your next president anyway.

BK>>> Bush's people smeared is family. How are the republicans not much
 BK>>> worse?

RW>> I don't recall anybody smearing him, let alone the Bush
 RW>> family.

BK> Bush supporters started a rumor that McCain had fathered a black
 BK> child.

BS...

BK> Which he and his wife are raising. That's the child they adopted from
 BK> Bangladesh.

And everyone knew that, or at least those who keep up with politicians.

RW>>>> But thus is the nature of the far left liberal Democratic party...
BK>>> Thus is the current temper of the American people.
 RW>> BS.
BK> Read the polls. Or do you know by some mystical means?

I've always been right. I used to debate Andrea Santos about this stuff.
She majored in Polical Science in college and sure knew her stuff, but I
won out because her candidate would never be elected as President on his
own merit. I was right and AlGore lost his bid. Andrea left Fidonet
shortly thereafter.

BK>>> Remember, 75% of the troops in the field in Iraq support the
BK>>> timetable for withdrawal that Lieberman so arrogantly disdains.
RW>> You took a poll? Where are the stats? Didn't think so.
BK> I'm sure you didn't think when you posted that.

Without any numbers and a url to back you up, your statement means
absolutely nothing. You should have thought about that before you posted.

BK> Or is the Army Times too far left for you? I found the same info
BK> on the Stars and Stripes website.

That would depend on who's writing it.

BK> Troops poll: Pull out of Iraq in six months

 BK> By Gordon Trowbridge
 BK> Times staff writer

BK> About half of American troops in Iraq believe the U.S. military
BK> should leave the country within six months,

Well, that's not 75%...

BK> and three out of four think they should pull out within a year,
BK> according to a first-of-its-kind attempt to scientifically gauge the
BK> opinion of troops in a war zone.

"John Zogby, the president of Zogby International, said US commanders in
Iraq unofficially approved the poll of 944 respondents, which was
conducted before the escalation in violence that followed last week's
bombing of the Golden Mosque."

So, 944 respondents is a majority of the 125,000+ troops there? Were they
all democrats too?

               R\%/itt
