Wow... you mean to say you have NOT read Michiel's diatribes to Shannon
regarding posting fidonews on his website??? THAT'S the "old nonsense" I was
talking about... or was this last just to brag about how many hats you've worn?

As far as being a coordinator for twice as long as I ? well... given net 2320,
and not counting that "pissy" worldwide filegate, I've been a coordinator for
about 14 years total.. how about you, old man? :)  I guess I may be a babe at
this after  all <grin>

LOL.. no, not at all.  I just trust that you CAN read.  You obviously STOPPED
reading as soon as you hit the first reference to Fnews..  Try searching for
PUBLIC.

Let me explain this to you this Bjorn.  I removed this issue of Fidonews from
FILEGATE distribution, not from "Fidonet Distribution" because it violates our
policy that if a file is submitted, it must be done with permission to
distribute from the author, or his official representative.  Your allowing
Michiel to include that statement of distribution limitations cannot be
controlled, therefore it cannot be allowed according to the policy we all
accepted.  That's why I netmailed you and asked you to please take care of
removing this file from distribution "on your side"... that's also why I
thanked Ward for posting his web site url.. There's nothing wrong with making
this file available (caveat emptor) but it shouldn't be available on filegate
systems who have sworn to do their best to make all files available to
everyone..

Now if I told people NOT to write articles for fidonews, then you might have
something to complain about <grin>.. however, you want me to write articles for
your publication?  I don't mind doing so, I've done it many many times in the
past (including well before your time). If you will please re-release this
issue of fidonews sans the ridiculous copyright addendum that Michiel included,
I'll have one for you this weekend and several more the in following weeks. ..
if I'm not buried with canning vegetables from my garden which did really well
this year :)
