I run Husky fidonet software, hpt and htick.

For each file echo, I have 2 security levels in addition to a group name I can
assign.

group name is obvious, a link has to belong to that echoes group in order to be
able to access that fileecho period.

then there is:

lr (level read)

lw (level write)

lr means the person has to have a value equal to or greater than what I have
set in order to access the area for receiving files.

All my links will always have a 10 and FIDONEWS echo has a lr value of 10.

The lw value for Fidonews is 20, meaning a link has to have 20 or greater in
order to send files to me in that echo, you and Janis both have a level 20
setting.

I do not have a setting in htick, to prevent flow coming back to you, see lr
def again and repeat..

I will differentiate the lw value for the FIDONEWS echo only, if that makes you
feel that GOD wont die.

Ok, I altered the write security of Fidonews, only you have that ability, happy
now..

But I didnt leave the back door open, the only file echo you have access to on
my system is FIDONEWS.

Since it is yours, Douches and Vlisters intention to further fuck up the
FIDONEWS, far be it for me to stop you.

I already illustrated to you that htick doesnt have the switches, I believe
allfix and other file processors do have.. Unlike you, I am not running the
mail hub under Windows 3.11, I am running it under Linux. I got over DOS a long
time ago.

HPT/HTICK makes up for its few shortcomings elsewhere.
