 IOW, you are here spreading your bile. Had you come out politely
 and asked to keep it to a nice discussion echo you might
 actually have achieved something.

 Well, Politics is the only topic I really argue in Fido. And I
 do like to argue. However, there are other echos which are not
 political or debate echos, where I discuss things that do not
 involve politics. In fact, I just shut down the beginnings of a
 political discussion in one by simply suggesting we did not want
 to open it in a nice dicsussion echo.

 However, if this is the way you conduct yourself in an echo you
 claim is perfect otherwise, I will not mention which echos for
 fear you will continue this there.

 Stever Jobs is a failed promise. Linus Torvalds is the new
 promise.

 And Dos is on more computers than Mac and Linux combined.

 Way back when Pentiums first became popular I had this
 discussion with a Win 95 advocate. He said they finally had a
 computer that could run Windows like it should be. I pointed
 out, even then, as fast as the Pentium was with Win 95, it's
 still faster with DOS. So, why not get the most from your system
 with Dos?

 As to later, I am running windows, and I use dos for my
 programming, since I no longer write programs near as extensive
 as I used to. And Dos works just fine for much of what I want to
 do. I can get a windows program for the rest.
