yeah, that's within the normal targeting range... just about the length of an
american football field (100yards)...

what do you mean "you"? unless radar detectors with laser detection capability
are illegal or not sold over there, everyone has this advantage ;)

ummm... laser only works when traveling toward or away from... not from the
side... if they are standing and hiding, they can't just "pop out" and get ya
because of the sensitivity of the pointing of the device... they have to be
braced or mounted on a tripod for accuracy... it's like shooting a gun and
getting the bullet to bounce back at ya... it doesn't take much to not hit what
you are trying to aim at...

over here, we fight all speeding tickets in one manner or another... laser
hasn't been proven to the courts to be workable... i can't remember the term
for it... something like judicial-mention or so... anyway, fighting them forces
the prosecution to bring in expert witnesses and in many cases, they have to
spend more $$$ than one would get from the ticket... the thing is that they
don't want you to know this and so most folk simply pay up... the term "highway
robbery" does have its roots ;)  of course, the laws are different in your area
and so YMMV...
