     The situation seems to be that Michiel wants to use Fidonews to
get back at Shannon based on past history that they have. To that end
Michiel is using the agument that Shannon should be prevented from
displaying the Fidonews on his BBS or website. Michiel has clearly
singled out Shannon in his tyrade on the subject. While I would agree
that a website that is not also a "Valid Fido BBS" is therefore outside
the scope of Fidonet. I see no real concern here. What is the problem
with advertising Fidonet by distributing Fidonews as much as possible
to as many people as possible? It would seem that people that submit
articles to the Fidonews should do so with the understanding and prior
knowledge of how and where said article will be distributed. It doesn't
seem right to me for article authors to submit their articles with the
expectation of Fidonews customising the distribution of said article
to suit the desires of the submitter.

     While I would tend to agree. Considering the personal, zonal,
geographical agendas in play here. I don't see that as a likely option.
That doesn't mean though that one should not keep trying or avoid any
opportunities that may arise.
