 As to word twisting, only in retaliation for personal attacks,
 or in humor. Being troublesome is part of disagreeing with those
 who hold their beliefs as revealed truth.

 As to baiting, if you mean leaving you an opportunity to state
 your opinion then showing how it contradicts your position,
 certainly. If you mean, leaving you an opportunity to drop
 yourself into a hole, sure. OTOH, if you mean asking you
 questions that will lead you to reversing your own position,
 haven't you had any exposure to the Socratic method?

 Quite possible. Do you think all issues are so simple there are
 never points on both sides? And going at a thread from all sides
 is a very good way to find truth. If you are not interested in
 truth just say so.

 For example, on Iraq. I long said George I should have taken
 down Saddam when he had the chance. I say George II was a
 criminal for doing it, because he didn't have justification this
 time, and he did it stupidly.

 Even at that, had he taken down Saddam to institute a real
 democracy, and justice, I would probably have supported him, if
 he had succeeded. Part of the theory of just war is that it's
 not just if the end result is you can't achiever a just end.

 I actually thought the neocons were a group I could agree with
 when I first encountered their principles. It was only after I
 found out their intention was to impose their beliefs, with
 little regard for the good of the people, that I turned against
 them. They are all Ivory tower theorists, with little regard for
 real world situations. Or so it seems from what they have done.

 I even agreed with their desire to break OPEC, but it involved
 taking over another country and acting in blatant disregard of
 the very democratic principles they espoused. That was too much.

 That is the most blatant lie you can tell. I have never once
 acted to deny free speech to anyone on any matter other than
 flames. As you participate in an echo I co-moderate you know
 full fucking well you have never been moderated on anything
 other than attacks on others, and posting of articles forbidden
 by the moderator, who happens to be a die hard republican bush
 supporter conservative.
