Also in circumventing the US Constitution and US laws.  When it suits them,
of course.

IMO a legal travesty.  If for no other reason because he was tried and
convicted for doing things that were perfectly legal (not ethical, moral,
or "right," but legal anyway) at the time they were done.  I have the
same problem, incidentally, with the Adolf Eichmann events of several
decades ago (what the man did was *legal* at the time he did it, and
the government that tried, convicted and executed him didn't even exist
at the time the actions were committed).
