It seems like you suggest that.  Unless you can prove that his views are
preventing him from publishing articles I see your arguement has no meaning. 
The reason I say that is that his views do not stop you or anyone else from
posting messages here, so why do his views and expression of them stop you from
writing an article?   It's ths same damn thing!  ;-)  I just see the snooze has
turned into a 'ball' for people to fight over.  I think the comparison to
terrorism is value.  Even if we conceeded and gave the terrorists everything
they wanted, shock would turn into reality, and they would try to find
something else to fight over.  In other words, even if we were willing, we
could never make or keep them happy.  Some people just need a cause, I guess.

e.g.

bin laden: damn, al, i never thought they'd give us what we wanted
al-zarqawi: you're right.  so, uh, whats next?
(silence)
bin laden: (tapping desk) the americans have left iraq, palestinians are
free...uh, I guess we have to find something else... our followers are getting
restless... gee, im really not sure.
al-zarqawi: i hear fast food are bad for your health...?
bin laden: r.r.r.r.right...
(silence)
bin laden: i guess it'll have to do.  death to fast food!  I mean mcdonalds! 
uh..no....i mean the infidels!
(silence)
bin laden: fast food was created by amercians, right al?


Lets break it all down sequentually because when typed in text it seems to get
lost?

regarding this echo:

- we don't like the moderator.

- we then post messages in defiance of rules (swearing, cursing, topic, etc.)
to test the enforcement of the rules

- the moderator, knows better, ignores these provoking individuals because he
knows once a person has made up their mind they will not be moderated it is a
waste of time.

- we then claim the moderator is inept because he cannot moderate us (secretly,
we will ignore any request by him to moderate us anyway)  he is damned either
way.

- we then call him inept and demand he be replaced

- (six months, a year elapses, the cycle repeats here or somewhere else)

regarding the snooze:

- there are no articles in fidonews

- we can spend hours writing messages complaining about the editor and lack of
articles but refuse to lift a finger to write one

- we then blame the editor for the lack of articles

- and demand he be replaced

That's rigoddamndiculous.

The messages we write here take just as long to write as an article.  So, I
dont think anyone hese has an excuse or reason to complain for the absense of
articles.
