I wear size 15 shoes to this very day.

I certainly hope not.
Have you ever heard of Patricia Neal the famous actress?
She had a very good recovery from a rather severe stroke.
You have to admire her courage.

Mine didn't go away but the effects are fading.
I think it happened in June or July but I'm not sure
as I didn't think to write it down when it occurred.

I recall about your father, sharp as a tack right?

Did that.
No salt, no alcohol and bland low fat diet I've already lost over 20 pounds.
Ordinary common sense stuff.

Outside of checking out the nurses, cable T.V. and clean sheets changed
every day I can't see as how going to the hospital 
would have changed my recovery in any way.

But I think we should drop this topic as it's not likely of
interest to all.
I did feel I owed you a reply but I shall endeavor to be more 
discriminating in topic in future.

I know nothing of cholesterol.
I know what blood clots are.

It means rather more to me than the physical but that's me.
The physical didn't terrify me, not regaining my mental status terrified me.

Paralysis sometimes and to varying degrees.
I had some but mostly transient though my right hand still requires
routine workout.

Not in my book but than it didn't quite come to that did it?
