For heavens sake!  Like nobody else _here_ has ever pirated software or handled
copyright material "incorrectly".  God forbid we ever find that out to be true!
Ha!  I have been in computers far too long to know better.  I wonder how many
people here have some "secret" stash of "warez" that they have shared with a
"[really] good friend" or family member at some point?  For the sake of
discussion, lets define "warez" as being any copyrighted material; from wav,
gif, movies, or software itself.  Yes, even sound bites from movies or song can
be considered copyrighted material.

I do not condone the open redistribution of copyrighted creative content but I
find it appalling that people who have most likely engaged in similar
activities at some point in their life (even if their hands are clean today)
are being critical of another for doing the same.  Maybe you pirated cable TV
or something like that.  I guess does not matter because your image remains
untained and you were not caught?  Not being caught in your mind means not
guilty?  So that means you are free and able to criticize for similar
activities of a different nature?

While you all think, consider this.  What are those files that take up 80 gigs
on that 120 gb hard drive you had to buy 6 months ago because you were running
out of space?  Is every copy of windows in your house legal?  Maybe you paid
for windows and office 2000, but did you purchase the upgrade to office xp?

I am willing to wager that if we had enough information and dug deep enough
that we could find at least one questionable behavior of every participant of
this echo, whether it be past, present or future.  This is assuming of course
we could all put on a veil of purity, and pretend as though we have never
commited any sin before in our lives?  Right?  :-)

Having said that:

Bjorn: If that is copyrighted matieral would it not be best to take it down now
that people know about it?  Note: I did not actually attempt to download
anything so I do not know if the content is what it claims to be.

Everyone else: After you cast of all sin may you join the ranks of open
criticism.  If what Bjorn has really bothers you I recommend you consult an
attorney familar with his law and inform the local authorities.  You know that
in some countries it is against the law to know about a crime but do nothing? I
guess that makes you all just as guilty?
