you cannot have true without false so there must be a false side, too...

in any type of election, there is more than one side... there has to be
otherwise, what would be the point or the election? you are either for
something or against it... if there is more than one something, then you choose
which something you are for... there is always at least two sides... sometimes
there are more...

though RC said it, i agree with it... but of course... anyone can see something
that isn't there... in some cases, it is something that they are putting
together in their mind... in some cases, they are able to get others to see it,
too... however, that doesn't make it true or accurate...

to me, yes... here's why...

i, too, added my voice to those asking the Z1C to call for an IC election...
why? because what i saw ward doing indicated to me that he was getting much too
big for his britches and that he needed to be removed from office before he did
or tried to do something that would damage fidonet and alter it from what it
has always been...

there were several items of interest at the forefront of my mind WRT ward and
his actions and statements...

  1. the method that ward used to get the IC chair...

  2. the mess about that fidonet domain that someone registered
     that ward tried to take away from them when he had no
     business doing such...

  3. the threat of removal from office of Z2RCs if they didn't
     participate in the policy ratification process that got
     started...

  4. the vdVlist v.Witt affair was also in there but it wasn't a
     driving force, only another nail in ward's coffin...

  5. then there is that so called interpretation of policy where
     he tries to weight the votes of each ZC based on the numbers
     of members in each zone...

that #5 is such a huge load of fecal material that it is still being disposed
of to this day and may be for years to come...

if i stop and think and dig back thru my notes and archives, i'll find more
reasons that i added my voice to the call for removing him from the IC chair...

the main thing was that i didn't like what he was doing to fidonet and how he
was going about doing things... i still don't like what he is doing about
fidonet but it is now up to someone else to remove him from his other
position(s) if they want to... if they cannot see what he is doing and why,
that is their problem... sitting out here and looking in, it is easy to see
_what_ he is doing but not why...
